We offer a 30-day return window upon receipt of the item for inspection. We want you to be confident in your purchase.
However, due to the nature of hobby-grade drones, eligibility depends strictly on the condition of the aircraft.
🚨 Crucial Policy: Flown = Used
Warranty Does NOT Cover Pilot Error (Crashes/Flyaways).
Once a drone has taken off, it is considered "used equipment." We do not accept returns for refunds on drones that have been flown, crashed, or damaged due to pilot error. Warranty covers verified manufacturing defects only.
1. Eligibility & Condition Guidelines
- Unopened & Sealed: Eligible for a full refund.
- Opened but Unflown: Eligible for return, subject to a restocking fee (up to 15%) for inspection.
- Activated / Flown: Not eligible for return unless a manufacturing defect is verified by flight logs.
2. UK & EU Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-off Period)
For customers in the UK and European Union, you have the statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
Important Exception (Diminished Value): You are liable for any diminished value of the goods. Flying the drone outdoors goes beyond "establishing nature" and significantly diminishes its value. In such cases, we reserve the right to deduct the loss in value from your refund.
3. Defect Verification & Flight Logs
If you believe your drone has a manufacturing defect, we require cooperation for troubleshooting. Our technicians may ask for Flight Logs data to determine if the issue was caused by system failure or external factors (pilot error, wind, collision).
4. Return Shipping Costs
- Defective Item: ProDrone covers shipping costs (prepaid label provided).
- Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for international return shipping costs to our operations center.
5. Important Safety Notice: Lithium Batteries
If you are returning a drone due to a battery issue, DO NOT ship swollen, leaking, or physically damaged batteries. This is a violation of international aviation safety laws. Please contact our support team for specific disposal instructions.
6. How to Request a Return (RMA)
Do not send your package back to the address on the shipping label. Please email support@prodrone.org.uk to receive your unique RMA number and correct return warehouse address.
7. Refunds Timing
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
