"I picked this up a couple of weeks ago mainly because I wanted something with brushless motors that wouldn't break the bank. Most drones at this price point feel like cheap toys that fly away the second there's a breeze, but this S8S is surprisingly punchy. It’s not perfect, mind you. The '4K' camera is alright for messing about and sending clips to mates, but don't expect film-studio quality—it’s definitely more for casual use than professional photography. Also, my only real gripe is the flight time. You get about 10-12 minutes and then that's it. I wanted to grab a spare battery while I was at it, but couldn't find any listed on the site, so I just have to make sure I'm fully charged before heading out.
Overall, for the money, it’s a solid bit of kit. It’s easy to fly, folds up tiny, and hasn't crashed on me yet. Perfect if you're just starting out or want something fun to fly in the park."
